Director Nanda Kishora proves that his debut directorial Victory, was not a fluke. Though Sharan Adyaksha is a remake of the Tamil film Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, he has managed to string together the loose string of gags and a story with only two twists into an entertaining package.

Sharan and his brand of corny comedy seems to the flavour of Sandalwood. After Smt Jayalalitha, he is back with the boisterous, risque romcom Adhyaksha. A remake of Tamil film Varuthapaada Valibar Sangam, Adhyaksha is a Xerox except that it’s rooted in the local rural

Every once in a while we get a movie that may not make us think, however it does make us laugh for a while. Comedy actor Sharan had promised that from his next movie Sharan Adhyaksha. The movie was originally titled as Adhyaksha, but was changed to Sharan Adhyaksha after a title row.

  •  Cine Sinchana -Raju Shanbhag Rating-5
Adhyaksha is a remake of Tamil film Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam. But Nandakishore and Sharan pepper up the screenplay with their own brand of tongue in cheek humor (I am assuming this, as I have not seen the original) and the result is a decent comedy fare.

If you're in the mood for some laughs, Adhyaksha is not going to disappoint you. A remake of Tamil movie Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangham, it keeps you entertained from the word go. Boasting of a tight script and narration, it's is a brilliant adaptation of the Tamil film; only the setting is different.
