Abhiram’s (NTR) world comes to a halt when he learns that his father Subramanyam (Rajendra Prasad) aka Ramesh Chandra Prasad’s days to live are numbered. His father has a painful past and the last wish is revenge.

  •  DNA | Review By - Latha Srinivasan Rating-6
Director Sukumar has made an extremely slick, stylish film that presents Jr NTR in a new avatar. The script may not be great but he has presented it in a different manner. Jr NTR has essayed the role of a son who is extremely emotionally attached to his dad, yet logical with a killer instinct, to a T.

  •  AP Herald | Review By -Siva Kumar Rating-4
Nannaku Prematho has an old hat theme that sadly falls short of the objectives of the film maker. Part Intellectual Revenge and Part Family Drama, the film is obviously much ambitious and yet struggles to maintain its steam as its struggles through unhurried family moments.

  •  Chitramala | Review By -Vikram Guru Rating-6
Audience, who expect high voltage action sequences and much elevated heroism leaves disappointed. Less action sequences, zero heroic dialogues and full on universal content is what it makes Nannaku Prematho. To sum up, this movie is a complete makeover for NTR and he finally tried something new.

  •  Filmi Beat | Review By -Pravallika Anjuri Rating-7
Though you might need a little patience and great concentration to enjoy Sukumar's Nannaku Prematho, it is worth it. We rarely get to watch different films on Telugu screen and Nannaku Prematho is one such, we would be proud to show as a Telugu film to our future generations.

  •  123 Telugu | Review By -123 Telugu Team Rating-6
Nannaku Prematho is a film where all the unnecessary commercial aspects are put aside and the focus is on the content. NTR’s solid performance and emotional content are huge assets. However, the slow pace of the film and lack of certain elements which are expected by NTR fans and mass audience

Editing is fine but the film is painfully lengthy. Cinematography is fantastic while dialogues are appealing.Nannaku Prematho is a decent film but an extra effort from Sukumar may have made a great film. There are several good moments to watch for and NTR's hard work. A one time watch totally!

  •  Indiaglitz | Rating-6
Sukumar pens a screenplay that is haltingly intelligent.  His attention to detail being terrific, his portrayal of NTR as a subtle actor stands out.  After a while, sometime in the second half, inconsistency creeps in as far as NTR's characterization is concerned.  The father-son element is thanklessly subdued.
