Critic Reviews A Aa

  • The Hindu | Review By -Sangeetha Devi Dundoo Rating-7/10
A…Aa doesn’t aim to be break new grounds, it is content being a simple romance that also addresses family ties. Mickey J Meyer’s music is refreshing and Natarajan’s cinematography is a delight. Except a few niggles, A… Aa has its heart at the right place and lends itself to a pleasing watch.

  • Behindwoods | Review By -Avinash Pandian Rating-5/10
As usual Trivikram’s pen does the talking and his dialogues are the back bone of the film and if not for the dialogues, A Aa would have ended up being a tiring watch as it is high on predictability factor. We get to see some great visuals from the lens of Natarajan Subramanian and Dudley. None of the songs actually leave an impact and it is mostly saved by the flashy visuals. A Aa is a decent sugarcoated family drama!

  • Times Of India | Review By -Pranita Jonnalagedda Rating-6/10
A... Aa is not perfect because it has its own little niggles. The countryside is reduced into something unreal with excessive graphics and the flavour of the village doesn't really hit the viewer. Trivikram takes his own pace in narrating the second half, so much so, it becomes tedious and then, all of a sudden, he hurriedly ends the film making you wonder what just happened.

  • Deccan Chronicle | Review By -Suresh Kavirayani Rating-7/10
The film is technically good as cinematographer Nataraj Subramanian has captured the village scenes very well. The film's predictable storyline and the sluggish second half are among the few drawbacks. However, 'A.. Aa..' is a clean family entertainer and one can say that Trivikram is back with a bang.

  • DNA | Review By -Latha Srinivasan Rating-6/10
A...Aa a film that adds humour to a regular boy-girl romance which should be seen to be experienced. Despite all the positives, it's in the second half that the film falters. The movie starts to slow down and the age-old rich girl-poor boy drama jars a little. Samantha and Nithiin's performances in this movie will be what people will rave about for days to come.

  • 123 Telugu | Review By -123Telugu Rating-7/10
Trivikram once again proves that he is magician of his craft with A..A. The way he has narrated this breezy family drama with some lovable and entertaining elements are major assets. A Aa will do exceptionally well with the family and overseas audience as the lead pair ensure that things fall in right place.

  • Chitramala | Review By -Vikram Guru Rating-6/10
Screenplay is racy at large and slow at some places. His direction and narrative skills are proved once again. He has done a fantastic work. This is another family entertainer added to his list of works with back to back family entertainers. To sumup, A Aa is a sureshot hit from Guruji with Nithiin and Samantha.

  • AP Herald | Review By -Common Man Rating-5/10
Trivikram once again proves in A Aa he is the 'Master' and he has narrated a family drama blended with all entertainment factors. The visuals in A Aa are breathtaking and the gripping narration is a biggest plus. Samantha and Nithiin are the trump card and Trivikram has crafted them perfectly. On the negative side, the second half is a tad slow and in some scenes, we can feel the length is too long. Script also gets too stereotypical as it passes by.

  • Now Running | Review By -NR Review Rating-6/10
A..Aa is a good treat for families. Despite a routine second half, a good climax with give a contended feel to the audience. The above average content will strike chord with A center and Multiplex audience. And for youth there is Samantha treat on offering. Try it.
