Critic Reviews Oka Manasu

  • The Hindu | Review By -Sangeetha Devi Dundoo Rating-4/10
Oka Manasu never really draws you in. Nothing works like a good, old-fashioned, idealistic take on romance, one that makes you believe in the bond that stands strong despite all odds. But if you’re watching one such story and are thoroughly bored, something surely is amiss.

  • Times Of India | Review By -Pranita Jonnalagedda Rating-5/10
He has a story to tell but takes too long to actually begin with the main plot point by when we have already become tired of the lead actors running around trees and farms holding hands, hugging and kissing each other. This film has got its heart in the right place, if only it was able to beat well. If only, this story was told well.

  • 123 Telugu | Review By -123Telugu Rating-5/10
Oka Mansu is a simple love story with some stellar performances from the lead pair. Niharika makes a striking debut and is surely here to stay. But the slow pace of the film, lack of proper drama and excessive length can get to you at times. All those who want to see the fresh pairing can surely give this film a shot for their striking chemistry. But for the others, go in well prepared for the slow pace and lack of any basic entertainment.

  • AP Herald | Review By -Common Man Rating-4/10
'Oka Manasu' is not just another run-of-the-mill romantic comedy. It is a new attempt which has to be appreciated. Niharika has made a promising debut. The 'Mega Princess' is gorgeous and has set her foot strong. With more movies, she can learn more in acting and she can be a better product. Love tracks are completely artificial and that is the biggest negative aspect of the movie.

  • Now Running | Review By -NR Review Rating-3/10
Oka Manasu seems more like a film made for critical acclaim and few awards if possible. The slow pace and lack of commercial elements, makes it tough for normal audience to connect to it. A small section of A class audience may connect to it, if they have lot of patience but box office prospects looks poor.

  • Chitramala | Review By -Vikram Guru Rating-5/10
Narration of the movie is the flaw and makes audience exhausted. Nothing happens in terms of story during first half and story starts moving forwards towards the climax. Director has blended hope, love and opportunity very well in the story but failed to conceive it with a better screenplay. To sumup, Oka Manasu is just for limited audience.
