Critic Reviews Naani

  • Cine Sinchana | Review By -Raju Shanbhag Rating-4/10
Naani is a film with predictable scares. You can almost predict, with spooky accuracy, where the next scare is waiting to pounce upon you, and that’s not an auspicious sign for a horror film. Kilometer long CG snakes, reflections in mirrors that do their own merry things, and a heroine with a bad makeup and worse acting. Naani has all of them and much more, much worse.

  • Times Of India | Review By -Sunayana Suresh Rating-4/10
While the cinematography is commendable, the amateurish special effects ruin it. There are gigantic-sized snakes that are created through animation that pop up suddenly, looking like a cartoon rather than evoking the necessary chills. The film could have worked better had the makers paid a little more attention to the narrative, rather than fall for unnecessary songs and cgi.
