Critic Reviews Zoom

  • Bangalore Mirror | Review By -Shyam Prasad S Rating-5/10
Zoom is a copy of Delbert Mann's Lover Come Back. The only changes are the overdose of misogynistic jokes that makes Zoom an adult film in disguise of a romance. So watching it with kids or anyone from your family calls for guts. Another troubling aspect is the length. It makes the film excruciatingly slow. Yet, if you want some guilty fun, Zoom has it all. And with a top-star cast, you can convince yourself it is not wrong.

  • Deccan Chronicle | Review By -Shashiprasad SM Rating-3/10
Zoom is just like most of the advertisements which attract the buyers with attractive package and tall claims but the audience or the actual buyer mostly feel the pinch after knowing that the product or the content is of low quality. Zoom is a pile of garbage filled with double meaning jokes.

  • Times Of India | Review By -Sunayana Suresh Rating-5/10
The original was a hit with the audience. When the director chose to remake the film that was well under two hours, the Kannada audience ended up getting a film that was 50 minutes longer, replete with double entendre jokes, songs, fights and more masala.

  • The Hindu | Review By -Archana Nathan
Can the entire duration of a film, i.e. two hours and thirty-eight minutes, be filled with crass double entendre jokes alone? Prashant Raj’s Zoom shows you how that is done. In the name of comedy and entertainment, Zoom has a ludicrous story (if one can even trace it coherently), a heavy dose of misogyny and some extremely loud acting.

  • Cine Sinchana | Review By -Raju Shanbhag Rating-4/10
There is nothing new for Ganesh and he does his bit effortlessly. Radhika Pandit sometimes goes overboard both in acting and makeup departments. But there are times when she is in her elements too. Sadhu Kokila sometimes entertains and sometimes irritates you. Strictly for lovers of double entendres.
