Critic Reviews Thikka Telugu Movie

  • The Hindu | Review By -Srivathsan Nadadhur Rating-2/10
The director struggles to complete character arcs cohesively. As a result, the climax looks like a rush job, and the narrative is loud and all over the place. Sai Dharam Tej’s characterisation feels repetitive. Thikka is a letdown for him after strong commercial packages like Supreme and Subramanyam For Sale.

Thikka is one film which Sai Dharam Tej should immediately erase from his memory. He should stay away from scripts like these which can spoil his career big time. Except for his sincere performance, this film has absolutely nothing to offer in any which way possible. Stay away from this one otherwise, you can end up losing your mind.

  • AP Herald | Review By -Common Man Rating-3/10
'Tikka' has also gone for a toss as the movie is considerably bad. The movie never has any emotions and the logic can never be found anywhere on the zone. Sunil Reddy's direction is terrible. First half of the movie is completely avoidable and second half is better than the first. Sai Dharma Tej should avoid further Tikka's in his career!

  • Now Running | Review By -NR Review Rating-2/10
Sunil Reddy is the capitain of the disaster and has got everything wrong. Sheik Dawood penned the story which is okay on paper but the screenplay beat it to death. Things only get loud and senseless with out an iota of logic. Thikka is a perfect recipe to ruin your weekend. Unless you are doing some charity to the producer or Sai Dharam Tej, stay away.

  • Chitramala | Review By -Vikram Guru Rating-4/10
Comedy injected in the scenes of second half are a big let down at times. This story has more back stories and twists which misfire due to screenplay. Numerous glass breaks, many vehicle accidents, breakup scenes, ruckus in public places, slow motion shots are the core of this Thikka. To sum up, Thikka is a very thikka film from Sai Dharam Tej which fails to impress audience.
