Critic Reviews Neerdose

  • Bangalore Mirror | Review By -Shyam Prasad S Rating-6/10
If irreverence is what director Vijaya Prasad MC aimed for in Neer Dose, he has definitely succeeded. Replete with double entendres, barrage of dialogues, drama and emotion, the movie does not move beyond the four main characters and the story seems absolutely irrelevant. Neer Dose is not a film that everyone can digest. But those who can will be satisfied.

  • Times of India | Review By -Sunayana Suresh Rating-6/10
This film is meant for those who like their conversations with a fair share of innuendo and the typical regressive fare when it comes to portraying women. The film has many food references, starting from the title itself, but be warned that these are masked with many sexual references, so you need a stomach that's strong enough to digest those.

  • Cine Sinchana | Review By -Raju Shanbhag Rating-6/10
Neer Dose is a film that strictly justifies its A certificate. It has lot of double entendres, plenty of skin show and some real nice issues which only adults and seniors can experience and understand. It’s a heady cocktail and despite the over the top double meaning dialogues which sometimes get repetitive, it is perfectly enjoyable.

  • The Hindu | Review By -Archana Nathan
Neer Dose is an excuse for Jaggesh to deliver a series of double-entendres. Jaggesh and the writers of the film have an uncanny ability to link almost anything to sex, be it electricity supply, machines, fruits and vegetables or even death.Neer Dose tries to be an adult/sex comedy but ends up as a string of misogynist jokes.

But his frequent thoughts ridden over sex jokes is too much to handle as everything and anything has a sex connection to it.Sex is a important part of 'life' for sure but too much of it can lead to disaster. Watch this adult rated 'Neer Dose' when best enjoyed with egg curry. Definitely not for the vegetarian minds!

  • Deccan Herald | Review By -S Viswanath Rating-6/10
Haripriya flaunts her multi-coloured bras and shows ample skin in sheer satin slip. Despite her bold, bindas avatar, she disappoints. The saving grace is the tastefully done belly dance sequence. Despite the hype about dialogues, the film is bound to disappoint those expecting a salacious entertainer, while the discerning can praise the experimental merit in the provocative enterprise.
