Critic Reviews Om Namo Venkatesaya

  • Times of India | Review By -Srividya Palaparthi Rating-5/10
But over time the absolute irrelevance of the force-fitted songs and comedy in such films is getting more obvious. Not to mention the outdated fruits, flowers and navel formula. This movie is strictly for those who love the genre, the filmmaker and the combo. Others can watch it just for Nagarjuna.

  • The Hindu | Review By -Sangeetha Devi Dundoo Rating-6/10
Watch the film for Nagarjuna who comes up with another memorable performance. As you watch the story of a devotee who puts his love for the lord above everything, it might make you go a little deeper and understand faith beyond rituals.

If you're into spiritualism, Om Namo Venkatesaya is a must watch, as the film itself seemed to have been made for a particular sect; the ones who visit Tirumala twice a year, if not more.

Om Namo Venkatesaya tells you everything you wanted to know about Tirumala, like the everyday rituals. With Nagarjuna’s peak performance, Raghavendra Rao’s visual treats, and Sourabh Jain’s stunning debut, this is a good film to watch, especially if you like devotional films.

Breezy narration, good performances, and feel good scenes give this film a sacred feeling altogether. If you ignore the predictable story line of what happens in all devotional films, On Namo Venkatesaya is a film which will be loved the family audience.

  • Chitramala | Review By -Vikram Guru Rating-6/10
Attempting these movie in these days where youth is not interested in watching devotional movies is brave attempt. To sum up, the combo of Raghavendra Rao and Nagarjuna Akkineni never disappoints.

An overbeaten and outdated style antagonist do not help the proceedings. It has a very simple story and would have been better had it been a little shorter. Many scenes are repeated, and so are many shots.
