  • The Hindu | Review By -Sangeetha Devi Dundoo Rating-4/10
In Hyper, barring a few moments, there’s nothing innovative. Ghibran’s music and Sameer Reddy’s cinematography make a mark, though this is far from their best work. Sathyaraj and Rao Ramesh, who steals the show yet again, are the film’s saving grace.

  • Times of India | Review By -Pranita Jonnalagedda Rating-6/10
Hyper is an interesting film and you see glimpses of films like Janatha Garage and Julayi and Race Gurram to an extent. The film is predictable at places and endearing at times. But on the whole, it feels like watching paint dry. Here’s a film which has its heart in the right place but the beats aren’t quite right.

  • Indian Express | Review By -Krishna Vamsi Rating-5/10
However, when a film gives you all that and tops it with something novel that it truly becomes an enjoyable experience. Hyper is that movie. The story deals with a cliched premise but the plot jazzes it up with something new: the hero is madly in love with his father and can go to any extent to make him happy.

  • News 18 | Review By -Karthik Keramalu Rating-4/10
But, Hyper takes a lengthy route to drive a fragile show home, and that’s where boredom sets in. The volume in the title is certainly present in the film, yet the meandering streams of ridiculousness are too many to make this a commendable one.

  • 123 Telugu | Review By -123Telugu Rating-6/10
Hyper is a typical masala entertainer which has some entertaining moments. The interesting narration, Ram and Rao Ramesh’s confrontational scenes and a breezy first half are a huge assets. If you ignore the slight glitches and predictable storyline during the second half, Hyper makes up for a decent watch this weekend.

  • AP Herald | Review By -Siva Kumar Rating-4/10
Santosh Srinivas should have worked more on screenplay. However the movie has its entertaining moments and that is what has saved the movie. The movie might gel well with mass audience. There are more glitches and predictable storyline. However if you leave your brains at home, you can enjoy this one time for sure

  • Now Running | Review By -NR Review Rating-4/10
Except for two songs, the music composed by Ghibran is disappointing. Mani Sharma's background score is also not that effective. Finally, Hyper has ended up as a below average to average fare in the tryst of striking a balance between that message and commercial elements.

  • Chitramala | Review By -Vikram Guru Rating-5/10
Director Santosh Srinivas who got a huge setback with Rabhasa has done okay job with the content and fine job with massy scenes. This movie works out well in masses. To summarise, Hyper is just another mass masala movie.
