  • The Hindu | Review By -Sangeetha Devi Dundoo Rating-6/10
Karthik Gattamneni’s cinematography and Rajesh Murugesan and Gopi Sunder’s music are huge pluses. What holds Premam together is the idea of romance over the years. Cheesy lines like ‘sky is blue; my love is true’ make way for a mature, but not lacking in fun, romance for life.

But nevertheless, watch this film. For Naga Chaitanya of course… but watch it more for director Chandoo whose honest approach towards making this film has made it unique. He may not have done a perfect job, but he definitely will grab your attention.

Presenting one love story well in a movie is a huge task. Imagine recreating three love stories in one film with characters enacting all three roles equally well and still managing to keep each one unique. That’s Premam for you.

Naga Chaitanya steals the show. After Manam, this is his best performance. In all, Premam is a good remake and the director has done a good job. Naga Chaitanya’s matured performance is definitely the highlight of the film.

If you stop drawing comparisons from the original and go with an open mind, Premam is one romantic entertainer which will keep you hooked throughout and makes up for a good watch this festival season.

You might not find a poetic visual narration or massy goosebumps moments in this version but if you want to witness a simple feel good romantic film again, Premam is not a bad option after all. Let’s celebrate Premam once again ‘ippudu mana Telugu style lo’!

  • Now Running | Review By -NR Review Rating-5/10
Finally, Premam is a decent product and will go very well with those who have not watched the Original. But then given the acceptance the original has got, getting to that far is also a commendable job.

  • AP Herald | Review By -Siva Kumar Rating-5/10
Nagarjuna Akkineni's voice over starts the movie and ends it on a high note. The movie has not many flaws. Technical wise the movie is too strong too. Rich production values also help the movie to get a free flow of run. The movie will be a blockbuster for sure.

  • Chitramala | Review By -Vikram Guru Rating-6/10
Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, Director Chandoo Mondeti and team made this Premam in their own set of limitations and boundaries of nativity. They are successful mostly when we don’t compare it with the original one but a let down when we see it comparing to the original Premam. To sum up, this Premam is not for the original Premam lovers.
